At this writing, the New York Times website reports that more than 88,000 cases and 60 deaths have been identified and linked to activities at over 1,190 U.S. colleges and universities. As we lean into September, dozens of schools around the country are scrambling to contain outbreaks, reshutter facilities and pivot away from the ‘best laid plans’ for a smooth Fall reopening.
